DISCIPLINE
1. Students must come to school in neat & tidy uniform only. This rule applies even when they
come to school for any purpose other than attending classes or even off school hours.
2. English being the mode of instruction it is expected of all (Rainbow Family) to interact in English only.
3. The school is not responsible for any loss of article. It is not advisable to bring valuable
articles like expensive watches, fountain pens, cell phones and jewellery etc to the school.
4. Care must be taken of all properties and no one should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or
damage any school furniture, write or draw any thing on the wall or any way damage things belonging to others.
a) Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher, class captain or to the principal.
b) Any one who notice something damaged should report even if he/she does not know who has done it. Students
are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments to school.
5. Bicycles must be locked. Students must not ride around on the school compound on bicycles.
6. Students who come to school under the care of guardian / attendant / rickshaw-puller should never
leave before he / she arrives to take them back. In case of delay, they should report to the school office.
7. Students are warned to go straight back home after school.
8. Parents are suggested to grant pocket money very judiciously to their wards.
9. Students are warned not to buy any thing from the street vendors
10. Student should be recognised not only by their school uniform but also by their good conduct
and behaviour as students of Rainbow Public School.
11. Parents are requested to co-operate with the school in its attempt to help their Children's
progress by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking
interest in their performance in academics, co-curricular as well as extra curricular activities. They should check the diary every day
and note the home work and other instructions mentioned in the diary and put their signature. In case of small children, the parents are advised
to check the bag of their wards to see if any notice/invitation has been issued.
12. Parents must acknowledge the performance of their wards in the Monday-Test and put their signature
in the Monday Test Copies.
13. Parents are requested to co-operate with the school and ensure that their ward (s) speak in English.
14. Student should not be absent for school except for a serious reason. On returning to school he / she must produce a note in the diary from the parents.
15. Parents are required to inform the school if there is any change in their address or telephone numbers.
16. Students should always be ready to lend a helping hand at home to their parents, brothers and sisters and in
school to the teachers and companions and any unattended visitor they happen to meet on the school premises.
17. Children must avoid going home during school hours. Parents are requested to avoid making any social engagements or medical appointments during school working hours.
18. A student who is absent without prior information for more than ten days consecutively will have his / her name removed from the attendance Register. Once the name is removed, an
application for re-admission has to be submitted and re-admission fee of 500/- will have to be paid at the time of re-admission. Principal reserves the right of re-admission.
19. It is the responsibility of all parents to explain their wards how they have to behave in school. They are requested to explain the rules and regulations to their ward(s). After all
what the school authorities expect to provide is an atmosphere of discipline, good manner, academic excellence and healthy competition in co- curricular, and extra curricular activities.
Any student who is a hindrance for all these will be asked to leave the school at any time. Character & conduct certificate will reflect the actual behaviour of your ward in the school.
Hence a lot depends upon the parents and their whole hearted co-operation always.
